Congratulations to Brett Cook (BMSE grad) and Alex Sercel (MCDB undergrad), both in the Feinstein Lab, whose team won Second Prize ($3,500) in the UCSB Technology Management New Venture Competition. They were also awarded the Elings Prize ($5,000). Their startup company, Chemoguard, is developing personalized toxicity screening of chemotherapy treatments using induced pluripotent stem cell technology.
